What does Etiquette actually do?
Etiquette is a design, construction and operations company. You bring the capital and an idea. We handle feasibility, branding, architecture, engineering, construction, procurement and launch, then run the business and send you a monthly report.
Where do you build and operate?
Iraq, with Baghdad as our base, and the UAE, with Dubai as our second office. We also take projects elsewhere in the GCC and the Middle East.
How much capital do I need to start?
Indicatively from about 100,000 USD for a café, 150,000 for a restaurant, 120,000 for a retail store, 200,000 for a commercial space and 300,000 for a production kitchen, bakery or factory. The exact figure depends on the site and the concept.
How long from signed proposal to opening?
Typically 3 to 12 months, depending on the site, the permits and the scale of the fit-out.
Which kinds of projects do you take?
Hospitality (restaurants, cafés, hotels, catering), retail (stores, showrooms, spas, gyms), commercial (shopping centres, mixed-use buildings, offices), production (commercial kitchens, bakeries, factories) and brand or franchise development.
Do you keep running the business after opening?
Yes. We hire and train the team, set the operating standards, manage the day to day and report to you every month. You own the asset, we operate it.
